Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for prequalification from contractors and firms for works under the General Engineer (Navy) Construction Islamabad. This tender specifically covers miscellaneous, major, and abnormal repairs, consultancy, and minor maintenance works including TC/DC works at E-8 Sector Islamabad. Additionally, the provision of miscellaneous furniture items at the same location is included. The scope involves a variety of repair and maintenance tasks alongside supply of furniture, indicating a mixed technical requirement involving civil works and furniture supply.
Eligible firms must be enlisted with MES in categories A, B, C, D, or E, or be other government departments with relevant experience in similar works. Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory, and firms not registered will not be considered. Applicants must also provide a comprehensive list of moveable and immoveable assets, skilled and unskilled personnel, machinery and equipment details, GST registration, and NTN certificates. Experience in executing similar works within the last two years is required, with details of work amount, duration, and progress to be submitted.
The tender submission deadline is 08 June 2026 at 1200 hours, with prequalification applications accepted until 25 May 2026. Bidders should ensure their Technical and Financial Bids are complete and submitted on time to avoid disqualification. The submission address is the office of GE (Navy) Construction Islamabad. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the Earnest Money and CDR documents as per MES requirements and ensure all technical documentation is thorough to meet the stringent prequalification criteria. This will enhance the chances of successful tender issuance and contract award.
