Tender Description
Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW) invites sealed bids from firms and contractors registered with FBR and SRB for the monitoring and operation of two 50 tons ETR dehumidifier plants through a 24/7 watch keeping system. This procurement is specific to Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Limited located at West Wharf, Dockyard Road, Karachi.

The technical scope involves continuous operation and monitoring of the dehumidifier plants to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The site is the Karachi Shipyard premises where these plants are installed. The contractor must have relevant experience in mechanical plant operation and maintenance, particularly in dehumidification systems. Firms must be registered with FBR and SRB and comply with all applicable tax regulations. The bidding documents can be obtained from the office of General Manager (Yard Engineering) during working hours from 0900 to 1600 hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 2000 via pay order, cheque, or cash in favor of Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Ltd.
The submission deadline is **10 August 2026 at 10:00 am**. Bids must be submitted to the office of General Manager Yard Engineering at KS&EW. The technical bids will be opened at 10:30 am on the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives. Financial bids of technically disqualified bidders will be returned unopened. KS&EW reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per Rule-33 of PPRA Rules-2004.
