Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the procurement and installation of OMR, OCR, QID & E-Marking Solution hardware LOTs in Karachi by the Board of Secondary Education Karachi. The scope includes high-end servers, storage, backup servers, network switches, desktop computers, industrial scanners, paper cutting machines, UPS and electrical revamping, network architecture upgradation, and related hardware and software components. The project aims to ensure smooth examination procedures for SSC examinations with a focus on reliability, security, and high performance.
The technical requirements specify advanced server configurations with Intel Xeon processors, large memory, and storage capacities, along with enterprise-grade networking equipment and firewalls. The solution includes virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities, supported by 3 years comprehensive warranty and onsite support. The site is located in Nazimabad, Karachi, and the installation includes integration with existing systems, training for staff, and maintenance support during examination periods.
Bidders must comply with eligibility criteria including a tender fee of Rs. 2,000, bid security of Rs. 1,400,000, 3 years relevant experience, minimum turnover of Rs. 70 million over the last three years, and registrations with EPADS, FBR, and SRB. Manufacturer's authorization and compliance with technical specifications are mandatory. The tender follows the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure with separate technical and financial proposals.
Submission deadline is Tuesday, 10th February 2026 at 2:00 PM, with bid opening at 2:30 PM on the same day at the Board of Secondary Education Karachi office, Nazimabad.
