Overall Operation and Maintenance and Supply of Spares of Electrical and Allied Facilities at IBA Boys Hostel Campus Karachi

The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi (IBA) is procuring Overall Operation and Maintenance and Supply of Spares on need basis of Electrical and Allied Facilities at its Boys Hostel Campus located in Karachi, Sindh. This tender covers comprehensive services including operation, maintenance, and supply of spare parts for air conditioning systems, electrical facilities, diesel generator set, and fire alarm system across multiple hostel blocks within the IBA main campus. The technical scope includes regular checking and maintenance of air conditioning units such as package and split types, operation and monitoring of DG set and fire alarm systems, maintenance of electrical components, exhaust fans, and associated equipment. The contractor is also responsible for maintaining detailed job cards, fuel consumption records, and providing maintenance programs including preventive and predictive maintenance reports. The contract duration is one year with possible extension based on satisfactory performance. Eligible bidders must have a minimum of five years relevant experience in heavy duty chillers and electro-mechanical operation and maintenance, valid PEC registration in categories ME1, ME2, or O-6, and must be registered with FBR, SRB, and GST authorities. Bidders should also provide evidence of at least five existing electro-mechanical contracts and demonstrate financial capability with a minimum annual turnover of PKR 9 million over the last three years. The tender fee is Rs. 5,000 non-refundable. The last date for submission of bids is July 22, 2026 by 2:30 PM at the Office of Head of Procurement, Fauji Foundation Building, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi.
