Tender Description
This tender invites qualified bidders in Islamabad from the National Highway Authority (NHA) for operation and management of allied services on Lyari Expressway covering KM 00+000 to KM 17+000. The scope includes maintenance and cleaning tasks essential for smooth expressway operations.
The contract involves washing and clearing of cranes up to 25 tons, maintenance of jersey barriers, sign boards, and curtain walls including labor. It also covers the use of pickup vehicles, elevated cutting, tractor trolleys, labor water tanks, Suzuki type vehicles for garbage lifting, pressure pumps, and fuel and light maintenance. These services are critical for ensuring safety and operational efficiency along the expressway in Islamabad.
Bidders must hold a valid PEC license category O-4 or above and be active taxpayers on the FBR ATL. They should have no revenue shortfalls or blacklisting history with any government agency. The tender follows the Single Stage-One Envelope procedure, and all participants must submit an original bid security and a notarized undertaking on stamp paper confirming no blacklisting or default status. Compliance with PEC and FBR requirements for the 2025-26 financial year is mandatory.
The submission deadline is set for 27th April 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 12:00 PM on the same day at NHA Headquarters, 28-Mauve Area, G-9/1, Islamabad. Bidders must upload their e-bids on the NHA e-bidding portal and ensure the original bid security reaches the NHA HQ by 11:30 AM.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to carefully review the NHA website for any addenda or schedule updates before submission. Also, ensure your EPADS (PPRA) registration is active to avoid disqualification. Pay close attention to the stamp duty and original bid security requirements, which are often overlooked but critical for bid acceptance.
