Tender Description
This tender invites bids for outsourcing cleaning, museum attendant, watchman, and gardening services at the National Museum of Pakistan located in Karachi. The Department of Archaeology & Museums requires professional service providers to maintain cleanliness, security, and garden upkeep within the museum premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike.
The contract covers a service period from February to June 2026, focusing on routine cleaning, vigilant watchman duties, attentive museum attendant roles, and expert gardening services. The site is situated at Burns Garden, Shahrah-e-Kamal Atta Turk, Karachi, demanding careful coordination and adherence to museum standards. Service providers must be prepared to meet the operational challenges of maintaining a heritage site with high foot traffic and sensitive exhibits.
Bidders should hold a valid PEC category relevant to service contracts and must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) with active CST and NTN status. Compliance with the 2025-26 fiscal year requirements is mandatory, including submission of Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or Pay Order amounting to PKR 200,000. This ensures financial seriousness and commitment to the tender conditions.
The submission deadline is set for 11:00 AM on 11th January 2026, with electronic bids to be submitted via the EPADS portal. The technical bids will be opened the same day at 12:00 PM. Additionally, the original bid security must be physically delivered to the Drawing & Disbursing Officer at the National Museum of Pakistan office before the online bid closing time. Manual bids will not be accepted.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to verify the exact stamp duty and Earnest Money requirements as stated in the newspaper advertisement, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, ensure your EPADS registration is active and your documents are complete to avoid last-minute technical rejections.
