Tender Description
This tender invites bids for outsourcing essential support services including drivers, cooks, stewards, naib qasid, and khakroob at Pakistan Marine Academy Karachi. The procurement falls under the Services category and is managed by the Pakistan Marine Academy under the Ministry of Maritime Affairs in Karachi, Sindh.
The scope covers the provision of skilled manpower to support daily operations at the academy located on Hawks Bay Road, Mauripur. The contract requires firms with proven expertise, registered with Sales Tax and Income Tax authorities, and possessing adequate manpower and resources. The services are critical for smooth functioning and require adherence to quality and timely delivery standards.
Bidders should ensure compliance with PEC categories relevant to manpower services and maintain valid FBR/ATL status for the financial year 2025-26. It is advisable to prepare all documentation including earnest money in the form of 2% bid security as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of Pakistan Marine Academy. This is mandatory to avoid rejection of bids.
The submission deadline is set for 19th January 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled at 11:00 AM the same day in the Conference Room of Pakistan Marine Academy. Bids must be submitted online via the EPADS portal and a physical copy must also be delivered to the undersigned office. Late or incomplete submissions will not be entertained.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to verify the earnest money format and the bid submission through EPADS portal carefully. Often bidders miss the specific requirement of submitting bids both online and physically, which leads to disqualification. Also, check the newspaper advertisement for any additional stamp duty or documentation requirements.
