Tender Description
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Material Management) in Lahore is procuring P.G Connectors S-117 as per specification P-25:67 amended to date. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and involves supply of mechanical connectors strictly conforming to NTDC/PPMC standard specifications. The scope includes prototype approval from the Stands & Specifications Department of PPMC, Lahore, with prototype samples to be submitted within 30 days of contract signing. The supplier must bear all testing charges and comply with inspection requirements at manufacturer's premises by authorized representatives. Delivery is scheduled in multiple batches within 60 days from contract issuance.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and active taxpayers (ATL), prequalified with LESCO or any WAPDA formation under the relevant category, and possess valid prototype approval or undertake to obtain it within delivery schedule. Bidders must submit a comprehensive technical bid including Power of Attorney, Integrity Pact, ISO certifications, and no blacklisting declarations. Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Bank Guarantee, or Call Deposit Receipt is mandatory.
The tender follows a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method with bids submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by June 25, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. The bid opening will be live on EPADS at 11:00 AM the same day. Bidders should ensure timely registration on EPADS and upload all required documents to avoid disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the technical bid with all mandatory annexures and ensure prototype samples are ready for timely submission to avoid liquidated damages. Early coordination with PPMC for prototype approval can prevent delays and strengthen bid responsiveness.
