Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is inviting proposals and sealed quotations from well reputed Sub-Contractors and Firms experienced in Shipbuilding Steel Construction. The procurement is specifically for the Pre-Fabrication (Sub-Assembly), Block Fabrication (Assembly), Welding, Grinding, and Fairing work of Steel Hull Blocks for a vessel currently under construction at the Shipbuilding Division in Karachi. Items being procured: - Pre-Fabrication (Sub-Assembly) of Steel Hull Blocks - Block Fabrication (Assembly) - Welding of Steel Hull Blocks - Grinding and Fairing work of Steel Hull Blocks The technical scope involves detailed steel construction work as per the specifications and tender documents available at the Development & Sub-Contract office. The work is critical to the vessel's structural integrity and requires skilled workmanship in steel fabrication and welding. Eligible bidders should have proven experience in shipbuilding steel construction, with relevant PEC categories if applicable, and must be registered with FBR and ATL. Bidders must submit their offers in a single package containing two sealed envelopes: one for the Technical Proposal including the Pre-Qualification form, and the other for the Commercial/Financial Proposal. The Technical Proposal will be opened on 03-08-2026 at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders, followed by the opening of Financial Proposals of technically qualified bidders on a later date.
