Pre-qualification of Auto Workshops and Supply of Vehicle Spare Parts

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) Islamabad invites reputable firms for pre-qualification of auto workshops and supply of spare parts for vehicles. This tender is specifically for firms with workshop setups in Rawalpindi or Islamabad capable of servicing company vehicles including Toyota, Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Hino and others. Items being procured: - Mechanical repair work of vehicles - Electrical repair work of vehicles - Denting repair work of vehicles - Painting repair work of vehicles - Supply of tyres of vehicles - Supply of acid wet/dry batteries of vehicles - Supply of lubricants of vehicles The scope includes mechanical and electrical repairs, denting and painting, and supply of tyres, batteries, and lubricants. Workshops must be equipped with modern tools and gadgets for maintenance, repairs, servicing, and tune-ups of all vehicle models. The workshop must be manned by experienced mechanics and technicians, preferably with a lead person having higher qualifications. All spare parts supplied must be brand new and in original manufacturer packaging. Vehicle towing services and field mechanic availability on request are also required. Eligibility criteria include registration with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, PRA registration if applicable, and active FBR tax payer status. Firms must have proper workshop setup in Rawalpindi or Islamabad. Experience in mechanical and electrical repair of 797 cc and above vehicles, denting/painting, and supply of tyres, batteries, and lubricants will be assessed through documentary proof such as work orders and client satisfaction letters. Financial soundness will be evaluated based on tax returns and registration certificates. The proposal must be submitted electronically on EPADs by 21st July 2026 at 11:00 AM. Late or incomplete submissions, or those sent by email or fax, will not be entertained. Earnest money of Rs. 100,000 in the form of Pay Order/Bank Draft in favor of PMDC is required from pre-qualified firms before financial bids are called. PMDC will award framework agreements for two years, extendable by one year. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all documents are complete and properly attested, and submit your proposal well before the deadline on EPADs to avoid last-minute technical disqualification. Maintain clear records of your workshop setup and client references to score well in the evaluation.
