Pre-Qualification of Contractors for Hiring of Services for Boring/Installation of Deep Well Ground Beds

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) invites applications for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for Hiring of Services for Boring and Installation of Deep Well Ground Beds in Lahore, Punjab. This open framework agreement aims to prequalify contractors for subsequent call-off contracts over a 36-month period. The scope includes drilling boreholes of 8" and 12" diameter up to depths of 200 to 400 feet, installation of Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) and High Silicon Chromium Iron (HSCI) anodes, supply and installation of galvanized steel wire ropes, steel clamps, uPVC pipes, and other associated materials and services. Items being procured: - Drilling of 8" diameter boreholes up to 400 ft depth with lowering of 10 MMO anodes - Drilling of 12" diameter boreholes up to 400 ft depth with lowering of 20 HSCI anodes - Supply and installation of hemp core galvanized steel wire ropes - Supply and installation of steel clamps and cable ties - Supply and installation of perforated uPVC pipes wrapped with geo-textile cloth - Ditching and backfilling for laying anode cables with protective PVC pipes - Fabrication and installation of steel buckets and MS pipes for support - Injection of metallurgical hard coke slurry and backfilling - Installation and grouting of junction boxes with MS angle iron supports - Site restoration, disposal of mud and debris, and safety arrangements The technical scope requires use of portable trailer mounted drilling rigs or approved alternatives, prior approval of materials, and compliance with SNGPL's Health, Safety and Environment policies. Contractors must arrange clean water for boring, handle materials safely, and complete jobs within one week per site. The contractor must own the drilling rigs and cannot subcontract the boring work. Penalties apply for delays and non-compliance. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration, FBR and provincial tax certificates, relevant work experience, financial soundness, and possession of required machinery and manpower. Bidders must submit applications electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, October 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your drilling rigs and equipment meet SNGPL inspection standards before bidding, as failure to comply may lead to contract cancellation.
