Pre-Qualification for the Establishment of PMD National Operations Centre

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) under the Ministry of Defence invites applications for pre-qualification of firms registered with sales tax and income tax departments and listed on the Active Tax Payer List (ATL) of FBR for the financial year 2026-27. This pre-qualification is for the establishment of the PMD National Operations Centre located in Islamabad. Items being procured: - Pre-qualification for the establishment of PMD National Operations Centre The scope involves firms demonstrating experience, capability, and resources to undertake the establishment of a national operations center. Interested parties must provide detailed information including firm name, postal address, phone and fax numbers, experience record, current works in progress, and financial capabilities such as bank statements for the last two years, details of bank guarantees, and credit/loan limits. Documents can be obtained from the official websites https://weather.gov.pk, PPRA EPADS portal https://pa.epads.gov.pk, and https://epms.ppra.gov.pk. The bidding process will be conducted through a Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure. The deadline for collection and submission of documents is by 10:30 AM on 28th September 2026 via PPRA EPADS 2.0. Sealed proposals will be opened at 11:00 AM on the same day at PMD Headquarters, H-8/2 Islamabad. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in accordance with PPRA Rules 2004 (as amended). Bidders are advised to submit their bids online through PPRA E-PADS 2.0 and also submit original hard copies to the I&P Section at PMD Headquarters Islamabad.
