Pre-Qualification for Repair Maintenance, Software Installation, and Vehicle Emergency Services

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, through its Digital Communication Department in Islamabad, invites authorized service providers, workshops, firms, and contractors to pre-qualify for the financial year 2026-2027. The pre-qualification covers three distinct LOT wise services: - LOT-I: Repair maintenance of office furniture, office machinery & equipment, and IT equipment, including renovation and modification of office facilities - LOT-II: Installation of software, troubleshooting, license renewal, and credit renewal - LOT-III: Repair maintenance of official vehicles and emergency breakdown services within city limits Firms must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, hold a valid National Tax Number, and be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR. They must also meet the criteria set by the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Assistant Director, Digital Communication Department, upon submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000. Only bids accompanied by this fee will be entertained. Bids must be prepared according to the instructions in the bidding documents and submitted to the undersigned's office by the deadline of 16th September 2026 at 12:00 PM. The bids will be opened the same day at 2:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their representatives. The notice and documents are also available on www.ppra.org.pk and www.moib.gov.pk. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely submission of the bid document fee and complete documentation to avoid disqualification. Early collection of tender documents and thorough compliance with the Public Procurement Rules will enhance chances of successful pre-qualification.
