Pre-Qualification of Firms/Dealerships/Workshops for Repair & Maintenance of Machinery Items

The Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication) Islamabad invites interested firms, dealerships, and workshops to pre-qualify for recurrent repair and maintenance services of machinery equipment and transport. This pre-qualification is conducted under the Public Procurement Rules, 2004, for establishing Framework Agreements to provide timely and quality repair and maintenance services as and when required by the department. Items being procured: - Repair and maintenance services of all machinery items - Transport repair and maintenance Applicants must demonstrate relevant experience and capability, possess qualified technical personnel, machinery, tools, diagnostic equipment, and necessary facilities. They should have sufficient workshop space and access to genuine or quality-assured parts and consumables. Valid NTN and STRN/GST registration is mandatory. Firms must submit an affidavit declaring no blacklisting or debarment by any government or procuring agency. The service provider must maintain an emergency response arrangement for urgent repairs and return replaced parts to the department unless otherwise directed. Warranty terms apply for defective workmanship or parts. The pre-qualification process includes physical inspection of workshops and verification of technical staff and equipment by the Procurement Committee. The applicant must provide bid security/earnest money of Rs. 35,000 in the form of a call deposit or pay order in favor of the Deputy Director Operations, Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication), Islamabad. Interested firms/dealerships/workshops with valid NTN/STRN should submit applications for pre-qualification through EPADS 2.0 by latest 11:00 a.m. on 23.10.2026. Applications will be opened the same day at 11:30 a.m. at the Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication), Custom House, Islamabad. This notice is published through the prescribed PPRA/EPADS mechanism and may also be available on the FBR website. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your technical and financial documents are complete and submitted via EPADS 2.0 before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Early submission is recommended to address any portal issues.
