Tender Description
This pre-qualification notice invites firms and service providers to participate in the Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control Islamabad's comprehensive repair and maintenance program for the financial year 2026-27. The Ministry seeks qualified firms capable of providing expert repair and maintenance services across a wide range of equipment and infrastructure located at the Ministry's premises in Islamabad.
Items being procured:
- Repair and maintenance of vehicles including Suzuki Cultus, all types and models of Toyota Corollas, Honda, Mercedes, Motorcycles
- Repair and maintenance of office furniture such as executive and computer tables, revolving chairs, sofa sets, coat hangers
- Repair and maintenance of office machinery including scanners, electric water coolers, air conditioners, photocopiers, fax machines, desktop computers, laptops, telephones, LED TVs, printers, multimedia projectors
- Repair and maintenance of IT equipment and software including servers, UT firewall routers, networking components like optic fiber cables, LAN cables, access points, Windows, MS Office, antivirus
- Repair and maintenance of office buildings including electrical, civil, structural, and allied works
- Pre-qualification of firms for stationery, miscellaneous items, and other office supplies
The scope covers a broad technical range including mechanical, electrical, civil, IT hardware and software maintenance, and furniture repair. The Ministry requires firms to have at least four years of relevant experience, valid registration with Income Tax and Sales Tax departments, professional tax certificate or Pakistan Engineering Council certification, and a clean record free from blacklisting. Authorized service providers for vehicle repairs must be recognized by Suzuki, Toyota, or Honda or be qualified auto workshops. Firms must be capable of providing urgent and priority services and have experienced technical staff available on-site at the Ministry's R Block Pak-Secretariat Islamabad location.
Key dates and submission details are to be confirmed, with the pre-qualification process governed by the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Earnest money deposits vary by category, ranging from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 166,000, payable via Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Call Deposit in favor of the Drawing & Disbursing Officer/Section Officer (Cash & Accounts) Ministry of Interior & NC. Security deposits will be refunded to unsuccessful bidders within a fortnight and to successful bidders after 30th June 2027.
