Pre-Qualification of Structural Engineering, Architectural Design & Planning, and Geo Technical Investigation Firms

Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) Abbottabad invites proposals for pre-qualification from reputed, experienced, and financially sound firms and individual consultants to streamline procurement for projects in the Galiyat region. The categories include Structural Engineering Firms, Architectural Design & Planning Consultants, and Geo Technical Investigation Firms. Items being procured: - Structural Engineering Firms: Structural analysis, modeling & seismic design of buildings & infrastructure, foundation design, retaining structures, slope stabilization, structural drawings, BBS, cost estimates, structural assessment, rehabilitation, peer review, and retrofitting. - Architectural Design & Planning Consultants: Site reconnaissance, topographic survey, site suitability analysis, architectural design, space planning, mountain architecture, master planning, zoning, urban design, compliance with GDA bylaws, sustainable eco-friendly design, interior architecture, landscape design, heritage conservation, adaptive reuse. - Geo Technical Investigation Firms: Execution of boreholes (min. 150 meters per project including rock coring), soil/rock classification, strength and compressibility testing, SPT and soil sampling, rock strength testing, bearing capacity, settlement and foundation recommendations, slope stability, landslide and excavation assessment, slope stabilization recommendations, preparation of geo technical investigation reports. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration (C-4 and above or specialized codes for structural and geo technical firms), PCATP registration for architectural firms, NTN and KPRA registration, established office in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, minimum 5 similar assignments in last 20 years in hilly/mountainous areas, availability of qualified key personnel and licensed software, sound financial standing with audited statements for last 3 years, and undertaking on stamp paper that the firm is not blacklisted. The submission deadline is fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Enlistment documents and proposals must be submitted directly to the Galiyat Development Authority addressed to the Director General (GDA).
