Tender Description
The Addl. IGP Office South Region, National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) Karachi is inviting prequalification applications from qualified firms for automobile workshops to provide repair services for official vehicles along with the purchase of MT items such as batteries and other spare parts. This procurement is for the Regional Office South Region and covers the fiscal years 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-28 through an open framework agreement.
The scope includes mechanical and electrical repair of vehicles 1600CC and above, motorbikes from 100CC to 250CC, denting and painting works, and supply of vehicle spare parts including filters, disk pads, brake shoes, and batteries. Firms must have their own workshop setup or demonstrate capability through outsourcing. The technical evaluation emphasizes experience, team strength, and workshop capabilities.
Eligible applicants must be registered with FBR, on the Active Taxpayer List, and have relevant PEC categories if applicable. Experience of at least one to three years in the relevant fields is required. Financial evaluation includes bank statements and tax returns for the last two years. The submission deadline is Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. Manual submissions will not be accepted.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration and familiarization with the EPADS v2.0 system to avoid last-minute technical issues. Also, prepare a comprehensive technical bid including all required documentary evidence such as workshop details, staff lists with salary slips, and financial documents to meet the quality-based selection criteria. Earnest Money and CDR requirements should be checked in the prequalification documents. The department strongly recommends reviewing all instructions carefully and submitting complete applications before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
