Tender Description
This tender invites pre-qualification applications from experienced contractors in Karachi for construction, renovation, procurement of office furniture, vehicles, and general supplies at the Board of Secondary Education Karachi. The scope covers major civil works including building construction and rehabilitation, office furniture procurement, vehicle acquisition, and event management services, all aimed at supporting SSC examination procedures in Nazimabad, Karachi.
The construction works involve rehabilitation and realignment of existing infrastructure with minimal disturbance to ongoing operations. Key tasks include footpath and storm water drainage construction, electrical infrastructure realignment, security system installation, and compound wall reconstruction. The project demands skilled personnel such as project managers, civil engineers, quantity surveyors, and site supervisors with PEC registration and relevant experience. Equipment capabilities and financial soundness are critical evaluation criteria.
Applicants must hold valid PEC registration, be active taxpayers with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, and have completed at least three similar projects in the last three years. Firms must submit a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as tender fee and provide an affidavit confirming no blacklisting. Compliance with PEC categories and FBR/ATL status for the 2025-26 financial year is mandatory to ensure eligibility.
