Prequalification of Firms for Repair, Maintenance, Supply and Installation of Forensic Lab Equipment and Consumables

This tender invites prequalification applications from experienced and financially stable firms for multiple categories related to forensic laboratory operations in Islamabad under the National Forensics Agency, Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control. The scope covers repair and maintenance of official vehicles, event management services, repair and alteration of office buildings and labs, supply and installation of lab equipment and furniture, repair and calibration of forensic lab equipment, and supply of consumables for various forensic disciplines including toxicology, DNA, explosives, fingerprint, firearm tool mark, narcotics, questioned documents, crime scene investigation, and pathology labs. The work involves comprehensive technical services such as preventive and corrective maintenance, supply of genuine OEM spare parts, emergency breakdown support, and warranty on workmanship. For lab equipment and furniture, the tender requires provision of new, branded items with manufacturer warranties and qualified technical staff for installation and maintenance. Consumables must meet international laboratory standards (ASTM, ISO, EN) and be accompanied by certificates of analysis, material safety data sheets, and manufacturer warranties. Safe handling, storage, and delivery in compliance with hazardous substances transport regulations are mandatory. Applicants must be registered with relevant tax authorities, be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL), and not be blacklisted. PEC registration and ISO certifications (ISO 9001/ISO 13485) are preferred. The tender emphasizes compliance with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) standards, FBR regulations, and requires bid security of PKR 1,000,000.
