Tender Description
The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP), Sector N-5 Central-III, Rahim Yar Khan, invites applications for prequalification of firms for the procurement of miscellaneous Motor Transport (MT) related items and repair services for official vehicles for the financial years 2026-27, 2027-28, and 2028-29. This prequalification is for open framework agreements to be signed with qualified suppliers who will then participate in mini competitions for specific procurements during the contract period.
Items being procured include a comprehensive range of vehicle parts and repair services such as oil filters, fuel filters, air filters, AC filters, spark plugs, drive belts, batteries, brake discs and shoes, tyres, mechanical and electrical repair works, denting and painting, generator servicing, suspension work, engine overhauling, fuel pumps, and other repair parts for various vehicles including Suzuki motorcycles, Toyota cars, ISUZU trucks, Hino trucks, Perkins generators, and more. All items and services are required on an on-need basis with delivery and service completion timelines ranging from 10 to 15 days.
The scope covers supply and repair services at the MT Branch Lines Headquarters, NHMP Complex, Karamabad, Rahim Yar Khan. Eligible firms must be registered with NTN, GST, and be on the Active Taxpayer List. They must also be registered on the PPRA e-procurement portal (EPADS v2.0) and submit bids both electronically and in hard copy. A bid security of Rs. 25,000 in the form of CDR is mandatory, and successful prequalified firms will provide a performance security of Rs. 50,000.
Applicants must demonstrate at least two years of relevant experience, financial soundness with minimum average annual turnover of PKR 2 million, and provide audited accounts or tax returns for the period July 2025 to June 2026. The prequalification evaluation includes general experience, personnel capabilities, and financial position with minimum pass marks required.
The last date for submission of applications is **28-10-2026 at 11:30 AM** with opening at 12:00 PM on the same day at the MT Branch, Lines Headquarters, N-5 Central-III, Rahim Yar Khan. Bids must be signed, stamped, and submitted in sealed envelopes by hand or courier. Late submissions will be rejected.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid security is in the form of a CDR or pay order as bank cheques are not accepted. Also, carefully follow the dual submission requirement (electronic and hard copy) to avoid disqualification.
This is a valuable opportunity for suppliers and service providers specializing in vehicle parts and repair services to engage with a reputable government agency for a multi-year framework agreement in Rahim Yar Khan.
