Prequalification for Supply of Goods and Services to Directorate General of Special Education

The Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE), Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training Islamabad, is inviting prequalification applications from well-reputed, experienced, and financially sound firms, suppliers, contractors, and service providers. The procurement is for the financial year 2026-27 and covers a wide range of goods and services to support DGSE and its institutions in Islamabad. Items being procured: - Construction, Renovation, Repair & Maintenance of DGSE Head Office and its Institutions (Civil and Allied Works) - Supply of IT Equipment, including Repair and Maintenance Services - Supply of Machinery and Electrical Equipment, including Repair and Maintenance Services - Supply of Food and Food Items to DGSE Institutions - Supply of Furniture and Fixtures, including Repair and Maintenance Services - Supply of Stationery / Non-Stationery and Miscellaneous Items - Repair and Maintenance of DGSE Transport and Vehicles - Event Management Services - Design, Development, Deployment and Maintenance of an Integrated Special Education Management Information System (SEMIS) The scope includes civil works, IT and electrical equipment supply and maintenance, food supply, furniture provision and upkeep, stationery and miscellaneous supplies, vehicle repair, event management, and specialized software system development. The work will be executed primarily at the DGSE Head Office and its affiliated institutions in Islamabad. Eligible firms must be registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, and PEC (where applicable), and hold valid Income Tax and Sales Tax registrations. Experience in similar projects and financial soundness are essential. A bid security of Rs. 500,000 per lot is required in the form of Bank Draft, Pay Order, or CDR in favor of Director (Admin), DGSE Islamabad. Applications must be submitted manually by August 19, 2026, at 02:00 p.m. The technical and financial bids will be opened the same day at 02:30 p.m. in the presence of applicants who choose to attend. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid security is original and properly formatted as per instructions, as applications without original bid security will be rejected outright.
