Tender Description
The Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE), Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training Islamabad, invites prequalification applications from well-reputed, experienced, and financially sound firms, suppliers, contractors, and service providers. This opportunity is for the financial year 2026-27 and covers a wide range of goods and services required by DGSE and its institutions located in Islamabad.
Items being procured:
- Construction, Renovation, Repair & Maintenance of DGSE Head Office and its Institutions (Civil and Allied Works)
- Supply of IT Equipment, including Repair and Maintenance Services
- Supply of Machinery and Electrical Equipment, including Repair and Maintenance Services
- Supply of Food and Food Items to DGSE Institutions
- Supply of Furniture and Fixtures, including Repair and Maintenance Services
- Supply of Stationery / Non-Stationery and Miscellaneous Items
- Repair and Maintenance of DGSE Transport and Vehicles
- Event Management Services
- Design, Development, Deployment and Maintenance of an Integrated Special Education Management Information System (SEMIS)
The technical scope includes civil works at the DGSE Head Office and its institutions, supply and maintenance of IT and electrical machinery, provision of food items, furniture supply and upkeep, stationery and miscellaneous supplies, vehicle repair and maintenance, event management, and development of a specialized information system for special education management. The scale of work is comprehensive, covering multiple service and supply categories to support DGSE operations.
Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or PEC as applicable, and to hold valid Income Tax and Sales Tax registrations. Experience in relevant fields and financial soundness are essential. Separate bid security of PKR 500,000 is required for each lot applied for, in the form of Bank Draft, Pay Order, or CDR in favor of Director (Admin), DGSE Islamabad.
Applications must be submitted manually by **August 19, 2026 at 02:00 p.m.** at the Directorate General of Special Education office, Hanna Road G-8, Islamabad. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 02:30 p.m. in the presence of applicants who choose to attend.
