Tender Description

The Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS) located in Quetta is procuring printing and supply services for Answer and Continuation Sheets. This procurement is specifically for the printing of 100,000 examination answer sheets of 70gm paper, landscape format, 4 leaves/8 pages with 4 color printing and binding with 2 pins, and 50,000 continuation sheets of 70gm paper, landscape format, 2 leaves/4 pages with black and white printing and binding with 2 pins. The sheets will be packed in markin-cloth bags as specified. The procurement follows a Single Stage-One Envelope open competitive bidding procedure managed by the Directorate of Procurement at BUITEMS. Interested bidders must be registered with the Income and Sales Tax Departments of Pakistan and be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). The bidders should have relevant experience supplying similar items to federal or provincial universities or education boards. A non-refundable tender document fee of Rs. 1,000 is required along with a refundable bid security of 2% of the total bid price in the form of a CDR or bank guarantee. The bids must be submitted by 3:00 pm on 7th July 2026 at the Directorate of Procurement, BUITEMS, Airport Road, Quetta, and will be opened at 3:30 pm the same day. Bidders are advised to visit the Directorate of Procurement office to review samples and specifications before submitting their bids. All bids must be complete with signed and stamped documents including affidavits for non-blacklisting and secrecy of answer sheets, certificates confirming paper grammage, and sample answer sheets. The bid validity period is 60 days. The first delivery of 40,000 answer sheets is required within 10 days of the supply order issuance. The contract emphasizes timely delivery and quality compliance, with penalties for delays or substandard supply.
