Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) (Material Management Directorate) based in Islamabad Capital Territory is procuring 100 KVA Pole Mounted Distribution Transformers for multiple regional stores including Rawalpindi, Jhelum, and Islamabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and involves delivery of transformers in scheduled lots with quantities ranging from 17 to 84 units per delivery period. The transformers must conform to NTDC Specifications DDS-84:2020 (Amended to date).
The technical scope includes supply of distribution power transformers with strict adherence to quality standards. Inspection will be conducted jointly by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore and Chief Engineer (MM) IESCO Islamabad or their authorized representatives. Selected transformers from each consignment will be tested at EHV Lab Rawat for iron and copper losses. The supplier is responsible for transportation costs of samples for testing. Delivery schedules range from 45 to 195 days from the date of purchase order issuance.
Eligible bidders must have valid PEC registration, FBR/ATL registration, and demonstrate manufacturing experience of at least two years with prior supply records to NTDC/WAPDA/DISCOs/GENCOs/Govt. departments. Bid security in the form of Call at Deposit or Bank Guarantee is mandatory. Bidders must submit technical and financial bids through EPADS v2.0 and comply with all bidding document requirements including integrity pact and declarations.
The submission deadline is Friday, July 17, 2026 at 10:30 AM via EPADS v2.0. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. The procuring agency advises bidders to register early on EPADS v2.0 and carefully prepare their bids to avoid disqualification.
