Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) (Material Management Directorate) based in Islamabad Capital Territory is inviting bids for the procurement of 11 KV Dropout Cutout as per NTDC Specification DDS-49:2009 (amended to date). This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to supply high quality electrical goods to support the power distribution network in Islamabad and surrounding areas.
Items being procured:
- 11 KV Medium Voltage Dropout Cutout fuse, Quantity: 5000 Nos with 45 days delivery schedule
- 11 KV Medium Voltage Dropout Cutout fuse, Quantity: 5000 Nos with 75 days delivery schedule
The technical scope includes supply of dropout cutouts conforming to the specified NTDC standards. Inspection of the material will be conducted at the manufacturer's works by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore jointly with Chief Engineer (MM) IESCO Islamabad or their authorized representatives. The supplier must provide a 0.5% non-reimbursable inspection fee along with the inspection call. Delivery must be completed within the stipulated timeframes and the supplier is responsible for packing suitable for transit by rail or road to ensure safe arrival.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have at least 2 years manufacturing experience, one year supply experience, valid prototype approval, and prequalification with NTDC/WAPDA/DISCOs/GENCOs/Govt. Departments. Bidders must also submit financial documents including audited reports and income tax returns for the last three years, and demonstrate an average annual turnover of at least 1.5 times the contract value. Integrity Pact and Declaration of Beneficial Ownership are mandatory for contracts exceeding specified thresholds.
The bid submission deadline is **Friday, July 24, 2026 at 10:30 AM** via EPADS v2.0 only. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM. The procurement method is National Single Stage-One Envelope using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). The bid security must be submitted physically before the deadline and scanned copy uploaded on EPADS. Performance Guarantee of 5% of contract price is required upon award.
