Tender Description
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) Project Management Unit (PMU) is procuring 132kV Transformer Current Transformers (CT) along with all allied accessories for the 132KV Qurtaba Grid Station located in Muzang, Lahore. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance the electrical infrastructure in Lahore, Punjab. The technical scope includes supply of 24 units of 132KV Transformer CTs with a ratio of 200-100/5/5, complete with all necessary accessories. The equipment must comply with WAPDA/NTDC/IEC standards and be accompanied by valid type test reports from designated laboratories or an unconditional undertaking for fresh type tests at the bidder's own cost. Bidders must be registered suppliers or manufacturers with LESCO/DISCOs/NTDC/GENCOs and have at least five years of manufacturing experience and three years of supply experience for similar or higher capacity equipment. Submission of a satisfactory performance certificate from end-users and valid manufacturer authorization is mandatory. The tender requires earnest money in the form of a bid security and submission through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 only; manual submissions will not be entertained. The deadline for bid submission is Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for 10:45 AM the same day. Bidders are advised to ensure timely registration on EPADS and submit all required documents including technical data, drawings, and financial statements. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the bid security and ensure it is submitted both electronically and physically before the deadline to avoid disqualification. This procurement offers a significant opportunity for qualified suppliers to contribute to Lahore's power infrastructure upgrade with a contract governed by the laws of Pakistan and subject to strict inspection and warranty conditions.
