Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), Material Management department, invites bids for the procurement of 200 KVA Pad Mounted Transformers in Islamabad under the Power, Electrical & Solar Equipment category. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2025-26 and aims to enhance the distribution infrastructure with high-quality transformers.
The scope includes supply of 50 units of 200 KVA Pad Mounted Transformers conforming to NTDC specifications DDS-71:2004 and DDS-84:2020 with amendment-5. The transformers feature fiber glass reinforced plastic doors designed for durability and safety, suitable for outdoor use in Islamabad's climate. The procurement follows a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method via the EPADS v2.0 online portal, ensuring transparency and efficiency. Bidders must comply with strict technical and eligibility criteria including valid prototype approval, manufacturing experience, and financial capacity.
Bidders should ensure PEC registration and FBR/ATL compliance for the 2025-26 fiscal year. The tender requires submission of a fixed price bid in PKR, accompanied by a bid security in the form of Call Deposit or Bank Guarantee. The bid validity period is 120 days. The contract includes a 5% performance guarantee and a warranty period of 24 months. Compliance with all technical specifications and timely delivery within 60 days of purchase order issuance is mandatory.
The submission deadline is set for 10:30 AM on Monday, April 6, 2026, with bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day via EPADS v2.0. Physical submission of bid security is required at IESCO Head Quarter, Sector G-7/4, Islamabad. All bids must be submitted electronically; manual submissions will be disqualified.
