Tender Description
The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of T-2073 20/.415 KV 50 KVA Transformers for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to be executed under the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method using the Single Stage One Envelope procedure through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. The bidding documents, including detailed terms, conditions, and specifications, are available online for registered bidders on EPADS.
Items being procured:
- T-2073 20/.415 KV 50 KVA Distribution Power Transformers, total quantity 14 units, to be delivered in two batches of 7 units each to QESCO Regional Store, Sheikhmanda Airport Chowk, Quetta.
The transformers must conform to Specification DDS-69-2004 (Amended to Date). Delivery schedules are divided into 1 to 60 days and 61 to 120 days for respective quantities. Bidders must have valid prototype approval, satisfactory past performance with QESCO or other DISCOs, and be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Bid security or bid securing declaration is mandatory as per bidding documents.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Friday, October 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 11:30 AM on EPADS. Hard copies of bid security must be delivered physically to QESCO HQ, Zarghoon Road, Quetta before the deadline. Interested bidders are advised to register on EPADS and review the tutorial for registration.
