Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) Material Management department invites bids for the procurement of 400 KVA Pad Mounted Transformers. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is based in Islamabad Capital Territory. The tender reference number is P59615. The procurement method is National Single Stage-One Envelope using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
Items being procured:
- 400 KVA Pad Mounted Transformers (Quantity: 50 units)
The transformers must comply with NTDC Specifications DDS-71:2004 & DDS-84:2020 (WITH AMENDMENT-5) as amended to date. Any changes suggested during prototype testing must be incorporated without extra price claims. Delivery is scheduled within 60 days from the date of issuance of the Purchase Order. The delivery location is IESCO Regional Store, Islamabad.
Eligibility criteria include valid prototype approval, registration with DISCOs/PPMC/WAPDA/NGC, no blacklisting, financial capacity with net financial resources at least 50% of contract value, average annual turnover of 1.5 times the contract value over last 3 years, manufacturing experience of at least 2 years, and supply experience of at least 1 year. Bidders must submit technical literature, declarations regarding use of prime materials, and no use of scrap materials. Integrity Pact and Declaration of Beneficial Ownership are required for contracts exceeding specified thresholds.
The bid submission deadline is Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 10:30 AM via EPADS v2.0 platform. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM. Bid security must be submitted physically before the deadline to Chief Engineer (MM) IESCO Headquarter Sector G7/4 STREET 40 Islamabad. The bid security can be in the form of Call at Deposit or Bank Guarantee.
