Procurement of AAC Wasp Conductor

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) (Material Management Directorate) invites bids for the procurement of AAC Wasp Conductor for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for delivery to IESCO Regional Stores located in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Rajjar, and Wah. The tender reference number is P55124. Items being procured: - AAC Wasp Bare Conductor aluminum electrical cable, total quantity 5,580,000 Km divided into three delivery schedules: 250 Km within 45 days, 250 Km within 75 days, and 250 Km within 105 days from the date of issuance of purchase order. The technical specifications require compliance with NTDC Specification P-63:2007 (amended to date). Inspection of the material will be conducted at the manufacturer's works by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore jointly with Chief Engineer (MM) IESCO Islamabad or their authorized representatives. The supplier must provide a 0.5% non-reimbursable inspection fee along with the inspection call. Delivery must be completed within the specified schedule, and the supplier is responsible for packing suitable for transit by rail or road to avoid damage. Eligibility criteria include valid prototype approval, prequalification with NTDC/WAPDA/DISCOs/GENCOs/Govt. departments, no blacklisting, and financial and technical capability including audited financial reports and tax returns for the last three years. The bidder must have manufacturing experience of at least two years and supply experience of at least one year. The average annual turnover in the last three years should be at least 1.5 times the contract value, and net financial resources should be at least 50% of the contract value. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 by Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The bid opening will be held on the same day at 11:00 AM. The bid security must be submitted physically before the deadline to IESCO Headquarters, Street # 40, Sector G-7/4, Islamabad Capital Territory. The procurement will be awarded based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS).
