Tender Description
Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 for the procurement of ABC Cable 3x95mm2 + 1x95mm2 and ABC Cable 3x70mm2 + 1x70mm2 as per NTDC Specification DDS-82:2007 (Amended to date). The procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be delivered on FCS basis at Regional Stores Rohri and Larkana, Sindh. Items being procured:
- ABC Cable 3x95+95 mm2, Quantity: 100 Km
- ABC Cable 3x70+70 mm2, Quantity: 100 Km
The cables must comply with NTDC Specification DDS-82:2007 and relevant IEC standards. Bidders must be pre-qualified and registered suppliers or manufacturers with SEPCO/DISCOs/NTDC/PPMC/WAPDA and hold valid prototype approval for the materials. The delivery period is 100% within 90 days or earlier from the date of purchase order. Bidders must submit a fixed bid security of Rs. 3,447,000 for the 3x95+95 mm2 cable and Rs. 3,102,000 for the 3x70+70 mm2 cable. The bid validity period is 75 days. Technical compliance, financial capacity, and past performance will be evaluated. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 10:30 AM on October 15, 2026, with bid opening at 1:30 PM the same day. Manual bids will not be accepted. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method. The successful bidder will provide a performance guarantee of 5% of the contract price. Warranty period is 12 months from supply completion. Bidders are advised to carefully review all bidding documents and ensure compliance with all requirements including FBR registration and active taxpayer status. One practical tip: Register early on EPADS v2.0 and ensure all required documents including bid security are submitted timely to avoid disqualification.
