Tender Description
The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination Karachi is procuring ambulances under the PSDP Project titled Strengthening of Points of Entry and Border Health Services Pakistan. This procurement covers two lots: Standard Ambulances with 1100–1300 CC petrol engines and Specialized Border/Remote Area Ambulances with 2200–3500 CC diesel or petrol engines suitable for difficult terrain and remote border operations. The total quantity includes 9 standard ambulances deployed across Karachi, Sialkot, Skardu, Multan, Peshawar, Faisalabad, and 3 specialized ambulances for Gwadar, Torkham Border, and Khunjerab Pass. The ambulances must be brand new, right hand drive, equipped with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, heavy duty suspension, and medical equipment such as patient stretchers, oxygen cylinders, suction units, emergency lights, fire extinguishers, and reverse cameras. Warranty of minimum one year or 50,000 KM is mandatory. Bidders must be manufacturers or authorized dealers registered with FBR, possessing NTN, GST registration, and ATL status. Experience in supplying ambulances to government or semi-government organizations is required along with after-sales service and warranty support in Pakistan. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes separately for technical and financial proposals to the Project Director at Block No. 47, Pakistan Secretariat, Saddar, Karachi. The submission deadline is strictly enforced. Earnest Money in the form of 2% bid security is required. Delivery must be completed within 90 days of supply order issuance. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documents including manufacturer authorization, technical brochures, and affidavits of non-blacklisting are complete and properly signed to avoid disqualification. Attention to detail in bid preparation and compliance with PPRA rules will enhance chances of success.
