Tender Description
The University of Rasul invites sealed bids from pre-qualified firms, book sellers, and publishers registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments for the procurement of books specifically for Medical & Pharmacy disciplines for the year 2026-27. The procurement is based on a Single Stage One Envelope procedure with priority given to the least item cost for the latest edition and year of printing. Items being procured:
- Books from M/S Pak Book Corporation, Aziz Chamber, Lahore
- Books from M/S Progressive International Agencies (Pvt) Ltd, Islamabad
- Books from M/S Pak Asia Book Corporation, Gulberg Lahore
- Books from M/S SAB Books, Mughal Pura Road Lahore
- Books from M/S Iqra Book Agency, Burki Road Lahore
- Books from M/S Allied Book Company, Naqi Market Lahore
- Books from M/S Atlas Book Bank, Miraj Plaza Lahore
- Books from M/S Pak Asia Book Corporation, Gulberg-II Lahore
Books will be delivered on Duty Delivered Paid (DDP) basis to the University of Rasul Library. Technical and financial bids must be completed, signed, stamped, and submitted online through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted electronically; no physical financial instruments will be accepted. The deadline for bid submission is 03-11-2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening at 11:30 AM on the same day in the Conference Room of the University of Rasul. If the deadline falls on a holiday, submission and opening will be on the next working day. Bidders must ensure compliance with all PPRA rules and submit original affidavits in sealed envelopes to the Director Purchase office before the deadline. This tender is an excellent opportunity for book suppliers with valid FBR registration and experience in supplying academic books.
