Tender Description
The Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences Gambat invites qualified suppliers to participate in the procurement of Cochlear Implant Devices through Pakistan Bait-Ul-Mal for Mustahik Child Patients. This procurement is aimed at providing advanced cochlear implant technology to support hearing-impaired children in Gambat, Sindh. The procurement follows the Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure as per Rule 46 (2) of the Sindh Public Procurement Rules, 2010.
Items being procured:
- Cochlear Implant Devices (100 units) with latest implant models preferred
- Minimum 12 channels or more
- Straight Electrode array
- MRI Compatible up to 1.5 tesla or better without invasive procedure
- Advanced sound processor without wire with control of sensitivity, volume, alarm, and auto features
- Sound processors powered by rechargeable cells and battery pack
- Proven international speech coding strategy
- Product support for life of product including implanted and external components, software and hardware
- Minimum 10 years warranty for internal and 3 years warranty for external components
- All necessary hardware and software for pre-operative, per-operative and post-operative testing and programming
The technical specifications require compliance with international standards including ISO-13485, CE, JIS, FDA, and MHLW certifications. Eligible bidders must be Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) or authorized distributors with valid DRAP registration and must provide comprehensive documentation including product evaluation, manufacturer authorization, and financial credentials. The bid security is 1% of the total bid price in the form of Call Deposit, Bank Draft, or Bank Guarantee.
Bids must be submitted by 23rd August 2026, 12:00 PM at the office of the Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences Gambat. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM. Bidders are advised to submit separate sealed envelopes for technical and financial proposals. The evaluation will be based on technical compliance, past performance, financial strength, and warranty offerings.
