The Population Welfare Department Government of Sindh Karachi is inviting competitive bids for the procurement of contraceptives and miscellaneous items for the fiscal year 2026-27. Items being procured: - Drugs/Medicines & others - Generic Consumables items - NCB Contraceptives - Liveries/Uniforms - Transportation of Goods - Stationery - Printing Material - ICB Contraceptives The procurement includes a wide range of contraceptive products and related consumables, along with transportation and printing materials. The scope covers supply, storage, and delivery to the central warehouse in Karachi. Suppliers must ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain proper storage conditions, including refrigerated containers for temperature-sensitive drugs. Eligibility criteria require valid manufacturing licenses, registration with DRAP, FBR active NTN certificates, and experience in supplying similar products to government or private institutions. Bidders must submit technical and financial bids separately under the single stage two envelope procedure. Technical bids will be evaluated on company profile, licenses, quality certifications, warehouse facilities, and past performance. Financial bids of non-responsive bidders will be returned unopened. The tender documents must be submitted by 5th August 2026 at 11:00 AM, with technical bids opening at 11:30 AM on the same day at the Population Welfare Department office in Karachi. Earnest money in the form of bid security at 2.5% of bid price value and performance security at 3% are mandatory.
