Tender Description
Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has allocated funds for procurement planned for FY 2026-27 and invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply of electrical goods in Peshawar. Items being procured:
- PMU-9/2026-27 (132kV ACSR Lynx Conductor)
- PMU-10/2026-27 (132kV Beams, Columns) (Earth Mast & 11kV Structures)
- PMU-11/2026-27 (CP-30, CP-50) & (RP-3, RP-4)
- PMU-12/2026-27 (Auxiliary Pad Mounted Transformer 200 kVA)
- PMU-13/2026-27 (Grounding Conductor 95 mm2)
- PMU-14/2026-27 (1000 MCM Cable S/C)
- PMU-15 (Aluminum conductor 600mm2)
- PMU-16/2026-27 (132kV Lightening Arrestor, 132kV Potential Transformer)
- PMU-17/2026-27 Termination Kits for 1000MCM (indoor & Outdoor Kits)
- PMU-18 (Battery Bank and Battery Charger)
The procurement involves supply of high voltage electrical conductors, transformers, cables, arrestors, termination kits, and battery systems essential for PESCO's infrastructure. Bidders must comply with technical specifications and bid security requirements as detailed in the bidding documents. The bidding process follows a Single Stage-One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules 2004.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Call at Deposit or Bank Guarantee. The original Bid Security along with a covering letter must be submitted to the office of the Chief Engineer (Development), PMU PESCO, Peshawar by the closing date and time. E-bidding documents and detailed terms are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 portal. Bidders must submit their bids electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Friday, September 18, 2026, 10:00 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be entertained.
Interested bidders not registered on EPADS v2.0 should register promptly. A tutorial for registration is available on YouTube. The Grievance Redressal Committee is notified for this procurement and relevant notifications are available on PPRA and PESCO websites.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration and submission on EPADS v2.0 to avoid disqualification due to late or manual submissions. Also, carefully prepare the bid security as per instructions to meet compliance and avoid rejection.
