Tender Description
Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) invites bids for the procurement of various hardware items required for day to day maintenance at the PAA Residential Area located at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi for the first quarter of 2026. This procurement is essential to ensure smooth and uninterrupted maintenance operations within the residential area, supporting the upkeep and functionality of facilities managed by PAA.
Items being procured:
- Various hardware items for maintenance (specific item list not provided in the notice).
The scope includes supply of quality hardware materials suitable for maintenance works at the PAA residential complex. Bidders must ensure compliance with the technical specifications and standards as per PAA requirements. The procurement will be conducted under the Single Stage Single Envelope Procedure as per E-Pak Rule No. 11(a).
Eligible bidders must possess valid registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and be listed on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Additionally, Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in Category C-6 for the current year and a valid Professional Tax Certificate are mandatory. Bidders must also submit affidavits confirming firm ownership, no blacklisting, and no pending litigation.
Bid security of Rs. 125,000/- must be submitted in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Draft from any scheduled bank in favor of Pakistan Airports Authority. Bids shall be submitted electronically through the PPRA EPADS portal (https://eprocure.gov.pk) before the deadline. The original bid security and affidavits must be submitted physically to the office of the Divisional Engineer Civil-II, JIAP, Karachi on or before the closing date.
The bid opening will take place on 24-09-2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid receipt closing at 11:00 AM the same day. Bidders are advised to thoroughly review bidding documents and perform due diligence prior to submission. PAA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure that the original bid security instrument is submitted physically before the bid opening time, as failure to do so will result in outright rejection of the bid regardless of electronic submission. This is critical to avoid disqualification.
This procurement offers a valuable opportunity for qualified suppliers to engage with a reputable federal authority and contribute to the maintenance of vital airport residential infrastructure in Karachi.
