Tender Description
The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of T-2045 HT Steel Structure 34'.8 FT under contract reference P88534 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to support QESCO's operational requirements in Quetta, Balochistan. Items being procured:
- HT Steel Structure 34.8 Ft steel tower, total quantity 2885 units, to be delivered in two schedules: 1443 units within 1 to 60 days and 1442 units within 61 to 120 days to QESCO Regional Store, Sheikhmanda Airport Chowk, Quetta.
The technical specifications conform to WAPDA/PPMC Specification DDS-78:2008 (Amended to Date). Bidders must have valid prototype approval, satisfactory past performance with QESCO or other DISCOs/NTDC for similar items in the last two years, and be registered with relevant authorities including FBR and PPMC/WAPDA. The procurement will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 using a Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
Bid security is required in the form of Pay Order, Call at Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The bid opening will be held on the same day at 11:00 AM through EPADS v2.0. Interested bidders should register on EPADS v2.0 and may seek clarifications by September 17, 2026.
The contract includes a performance guarantee of 5% of the contract price. Inspection of goods will be conducted at the supplier's premises by authorized representatives. Payment will be made in Pakistani Rupees against actual invoices. Bidders are advised to carefully review all bidding documents and ensure compliance with eligibility and technical criteria. Timely submission through EPADS and adherence to bid security requirements are critical for participation.
