Procurement of IBM Tape Cartridges LTO-9 & LTO-7

The Pakistan Revenue Automation Pvt Limited in Islamabad Capital Territory invites sealed bids for the procurement of IBM Tape Cartridges LTO-9 and LTO-7 under Tender No. P-50/2026. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to acquire high-quality backup tape cartridges for data storage and security purposes. Items being procured: - 100 units of IBM Ultrium LTO7 Tape Data Cartridges with barcode labels - 200 units of IBM Ultrium LTO9 Tape Data Cartridges with barcode labels The cartridges have specifications including native capacities of 6.0 TB for LTO7 and 18.0 TB for LTO9, with encryption and WORM support. Barcode labels will be provided separately, original from IBM. Delivery is expected within 6 to 8 weeks with no partial deliveries allowed. Bidders must be authorized dealers, distributors, or partners of the OEM and have proven experience in supplying and delivering backup tapes, supported by documentary evidence of similar completed orders. All bids must be submitted through the EPADS v2.0 e-procurement portal by the deadline of Friday, September 4, 2026 at 03:00 PM, with bid opening at 03:30 PM the same day. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Bid security in the form of a Pay Order is required as per the bidding documents. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
