Tender Description
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGIP), Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad, invites bids for the procurement of IT hardware, software, database solutions, network infrastructure, and related services for the fiscal year 2026-27. This tender is specifically for the DGIP headquarters located in Mauve Area, Sector G-8/1, Islamabad, and includes associated offices and sites.
The technical scope covers a comprehensive range of IT products and services including hardware components, software licenses, database management systems, and network infrastructure equipment. Bidders are expected to provide solutions that meet the detailed technical specifications outlined in the bidding documents annexed to the tender. The procurement aims to enhance the IT capabilities of DGIP to support its operational efficiency.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the relevant Provincial Revenue Authority for Income Tax and Sales Tax, and must appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) for both taxes. The procurement will follow the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure as per PPRA Rules 2004. A bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost must accompany each bid, in the form of a bank guarantee, banker’s cheque, pay order, or bank draft from a scheduled bank in Pakistan.
Bids must be submitted to the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (HQ), Mauve Area, Sector G-8/1, Islamabad, by 3:00 PM on 30 July 2026. The bids will be opened the same day at 3:30 PM in the Conference Room in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the bid security is valid for at least thirty days beyond the bid validity period and to carefully follow the instructions in the bidding documents to avoid disqualification. Early preparation of technical and financial bids in compliance with the tender requirements will improve chances of success.
