Tender Description
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) Islamabad is procuring a comprehensive range of IT, machinery, and equipment for its project titled Digitalization of In-House Processes & Automation of Examination System. This procurement is specific to Islamabad and involves advanced technology items including desktop systems, laptops, servers, high-speed scanners, laserjet enterprise network printers, inverter technology air conditioners, biometric devices, and enterprise-grade client access switches with 24 and 48 ports.
The technical scope covers high-end specifications such as Intel Core i7 processors for desktops and laptops, 64GB memory servers with RAID support, scanners with 600 dpi optical resolution, and biometric devices with multiple verification modes. The procurement also includes installation, warranty, and after-sales support with onsite service ranging from one to three years depending on the item. The project demands compliance with detailed technical specifications and OEM dealership or distributorship rights.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and ATL, provide performance certificates from government or reputed organizations for similar supplies in the last three years, and maintain a service center in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. A bid security of 3% of the bid value in the form of CDR or equivalent is mandatory. Affidavit of no blacklisting and other required documentation must be submitted both electronically via E-PADS and in hard copy to the FPSC logistics office.
The submission deadline is **27th April 2026 by 10:00 AM**, with bid opening at 10:30 AM the same day. Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) only; manual or alternative submissions are not accepted. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 16th April 2026 at 11:00 AM for clarifications.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents, including bid security and affidavit, are uploaded correctly on E-PADS and the original hard copies are delivered to FPSC HQ before the deadline. Failure to comply with these submission requirements will lead to disqualification. Attention to detail in technical specifications and timely submission will enhance chances of success in this competitive procurement.
