The technical scope includes supply and installation of the laptop meeting the detailed specifications as per the bidding documents. The delivery location is the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at NED University, Karachi, with a preferred delivery time within 30 days after award of contract.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have at least 3 years of relevant experience, valid NTN and GST registration, local presence in Karachi, and compliance with technical specifications without optional or alternative items unless accompanied by bid security. Bidders must also provide an affidavit of no litigation or blacklisting and must not have forfeited performance security with NEDUET.
The bid security amount is fixed at Rs 0.060 million, and performance security is 5% of the contract price. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS only; manual bids will not be accepted. The original bid security must reach the Deputy Director Procurement office before tender opening. The contract price is payable in Pak Rupees, inclusive of all taxes and duties.
The submission deadline and bid opening date is 9th June 2026 by 23:59:59. Bidders are advised to verify their bid submission status on EPADS to avoid disqualification. The successful bidder must sign the contract within three days of award notification to avoid forfeiture of bid security.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all pages of the bidding documents are complete and signed by an authorized person. Missing or unsigned pages may lead to outright rejection. Also, strictly avoid using vague terms like 'or equivalent' without proper bid security, as this will cause disqualification.
This procurement offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers specializing in high-end computing equipment to engage with a prestigious academic institution in Karachi.
