Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) (Material Management Directorate) invites bids for the procurement of LT Spun Pole 31 Feet under tender reference P55271. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is based in Islamabad Capital Territory. The procurement follows the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method and requires bidders to submit their bids electronically via EPADS v2.0 by the deadline of Friday, July 24, 2026 at 10:30 AM.
Items being procured:
- LT Spun Pole 31 feet, total quantity 1500 Nos, delivered in multiple lots of 200 Nos each over a period of 225 days from the date of issuance of purchase order. Delivery locations include IESCO Regional Store Rawalpindi/Islamabad/Rajjar/Wah.
The technical specifications require compliance with NTDC Specification DDS-55:2006 (amended to date). Inspection of the material will be conducted at the manufacturer's works by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore jointly with Chief Engineer (MM) IESCO Islamabad or authorized representatives. The supplier must provide a warranty certificate and ensure the goods are brand new and conform to specifications. The delivery schedule is critical and must be adhered to strictly. The supplier is responsible for packing suitable for transit by rail or road.
Eligibility criteria include valid prototype approval, prequalification with NTDC/WAPDA/DISCOs, manufacturing experience of at least 2 years, supply experience of at least 1 year, financial soundness with net resources at least 50% of contract value, average annual turnover 1.5 times the contract value, and submission of various declarations including Integrity Pact and Declaration of Beneficial Ownership for contracts exceeding PKR 50 million.
Bids must be submitted online on EPADS v2.0 with a hard copy of bid security submitted physically before the deadline. Manual bids will not be entertained. Bid security must be in the form of Call at Deposit or Bank Guarantee. The bid validity period is 120 days. The contract includes a performance guarantee of 5% of contract price. Payment will be made in Pakistani Rupees against actual invoice and delivery documents.
The bid opening will be conducted on EPADS v2.0 on July 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The procuring agency reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity by up to 15% at the time of contract award or during the contract period.
