Tender Description

The Environment Protection and Climate Change Department through its Strategic Planning & Implementation Unit (SP&IU) invites sealed E-bids for the procurement of medical and laboratory equipment. This procurement is specifically for firms registered with relevant authorities and tax departments. Joint ventures or consortiums are not allowed. Items being procured: - Procurement of Medical & Laboratory Equipment The procurement will be conducted through the Punjab E-Procurement System (EP) only, and bids must be submitted item-wise. The bid security is 2% of the total estimated cost as mentioned in the bidding documents. Bidders must submit their bids accompanied by the required documents and bid security through the digital banking facility by generating the PSID and depositing the amount via prescribed banking channels. The bid security must be uploaded on the Punjab E-Procurement System and attached with the technical bid. The bid validity period is 120 days. The bids will be opened on 15th October 2026 at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders who choose to attend. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per the Punjab PPRA Rules 2014 (amended). Interested bidders should have valid registration with FBR and relevant tax authorities. The procurement follows the single stage two envelope procedure as per Rule 38 of Punjab PPRA Rules 2014. Tender documents can be downloaded from the Punjab E-Procurement System website and the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website. Bidders are advised to carefully follow the instructions for bid submission and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification. The procuring agency is not responsible for any technical or internet failures during submission. One practical tip for bidders is to ensure the bid security is properly generated and uploaded on the Punjab E-Procurement System to avoid rejection of the bid. Also, keep track of the bid opening date and time to attend if desired.
