Tender Description
The Livestock & Fisheries Department Government of Sindh, under the Accelerated Action Plan for reduction and malnutrition, Sehtmand Sindh Program (Livestock Sector), invites eligible suppliers to participate in the procurement of Medicine & Vaccine items. This procurement is based in Karachi and aims to supply essential veterinary medicines and vaccines to support livestock health and productivity.
Items being procured:
- Foot & Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccine (Oil based) 50 ml bottles, serotypes O, A, Asia-1 (Sindh08 strain), potency 6PD50, quantity 5,000 bottles for dairy animals
- Foot & Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccine (Gel Plus) 50 ml bottles, serotypes O, A, Asia-1 (Sindh08 strain), potency 6PD50, quantity 14,000 bottles for sheep and goats
- Drench for sheep & goats, composition Levamisole 15mg, Oxyclonazide 30mg, Cobalt sulphate 382mg, packing 1 Liter (5 ml/dose), quantity 470,000 doses
- Albendazole 10% drench for cattle, active ingredient Albendazole 100 mg per ml, packing 1000 ml, quantity 300,000 doses
All items must comply with European or American Pharmacopeia standards and be registered with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP). Cold chain management with temperature indicators is mandatory for vaccines. Preference will be given to manufacturers or sole importers with verifiable experience and valid registration.
Bidders must meet stringent eligibility criteria including valid FBR registration, active tax payer status, minimum annual turnover, and proven supply experience in the livestock sector. Earnest money of Rs. 8,000,000 in the form of bank guarantee or pay order is required. Bids must be submitted online via the EPADS portal and hard copies delivered to the office of the Provincial Program Coordinator at Animal Science Complex, Korangi, Karachi by 02:00 PM on 24.09.2026.
Technical bids will be evaluated on detailed criteria including company profile, registration, experience, financial strength, and conformity to specifications. Only technically qualified bidders will have their financial bids opened. The contract will be awarded to the most advantageous responsive bidder based on combined technical and financial scores.
Bidders are advised to carefully review all bidding documents and ensure compliance with all requirements. Submission of incomplete or conditional bids will result in disqualification. The Procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
