Procurement of Medicines, Drugs, Surgical/Disposable Medical Items, Implants and Laboratory/Diagnostic Services for Zakat Fund Patients

The Health Welfare Committee of the Social Services Medical Centre (SSMC) at Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi, Government of Sindh, invites electronic bids through EPADS from eligible, qualified and duly licensed bidders for the procurement and provision of medicines, drugs, surgical and disposable medical items, implants, and laboratory/diagnostic services for eligible poor and deserving patients under the Zakat Fund. Items being procured: - Medicines and drugs - Surgical and disposable medical items - Implants - Laboratory and diagnostic services The procurement covers a wide range of medical supplies and diagnostic investigations required for patients supported by the Zakat Fund. Bidders must be licensed and registered to supply these items and services. The procurement will follow a single stage one envelope procedure with evaluation based on the highest evaluated responsive discount for MRP-based medicines and lowest evaluated responsive price for rate-based items. Key dates include availability of Standard Bidding Documents (SBD) on EPADS from 8th September 2026, bid submission deadline on 24th September 2026 at 10:30 a.m., and bid opening on the same day at 11:30 a.m. Bids will be opened in the Committee Room, Office of Executive Director, 1st Floor, Admin Block, JPMC, Karachi. Bidding document fees are Rs. 2,000/- non-refundable. Bid security is 4.5% of bid price and performance security is 5.5% of contract price. Contract period is up to 30 June 2027. Eligibility requires bidders to be qualified and licensed, with earnest money and performance security as specified. The tender validity is 90 days from bid opening.
