This procurement includes a variety of vehicle parts such as AGS batteries or equivalents for 7 EVs, multiple types of tyres including China Tyres (LangQing and LV Tong) and Star Sprinter Tyres, air vacuum pressure and side mirrors, and a differential carrier assembly for a 7.5 KW shuttle bus. The scope covers supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning within 4 to 6 weeks from the issuance of the Purchase Order.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for sales and income tax, be active on the tax payer list, and not be blacklisted or under litigation. Technical proposals must conform to the specifications attached in Annex-D. Earnest Money in the form of a Bid Security equal to 3% of the total quoted value is required, along with a Performance Guarantee of 5% of the Purchase Order amount for the warranty period. The warranty period for all items is one year from the date of delivery and acceptance.
The tender follows a Single Stage-Single Envelope procedure through the Electronic Procurement and Disposal System (EPADS). Bids must be submitted electronically by 05 May 2026 before 1100 hrs, with hard copies delivered to the Procurement & Logistics Directorate (P&LP) before the opening time. The bid opening will occur on the same day at 1130 hrs in the presence of the Local Purchase Committee and bidders' representatives.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documents are complete and correctly labeled as per Annex-C, including NTN, sales tax certificates, affidavits, and bid security. Incomplete or ambiguous bids will be rejected. Also, bidders should note that the bid must remain valid for at least 90 days after opening. Timely submission and adherence to specifications will enhance chances of success in this competitive procurement.
