Tender Description
Pakistan Tobacco Board (PTB) invites electronic bids through PPRA e-PADS from eligible and qualified firms for the supply, installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of a Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) under the Single Stage–Two Envelope Procedure in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004 and applicable PPRA Rules, Regulations and procedures.
Items being procured:
- Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) device including supply, installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning
The technical scope includes full deployment of the NGFW at Pakistan Tobacco Board's office located at 46/B Office Enclave, Phase-V, Hayatabad, Peshawar. The bidder must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and other concerned authorities and must possess valid legal status as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or authorized dealer/distributor/partner of the manufacturer of the proposed NGFW. The bidder must also fulfill all other eligibility and qualification requirements specified in the bidding documents.
Bid security equivalent to 2% of the total bid value is required in favor of the Chairman, Pakistan Tobacco Board, as per the bidding documents. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted separately through PPRA e-PADS in accordance with the Single Stage–Two Envelope Procedure. The last date and time for submission of e-bids is 25-09-2026 at 02:00 PM, with the opening of technical proposals at 02:30 PM on the same day. Financial proposals of technically responsive bidders will be opened subsequently.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on PPRA e-PADS and the official Pakistan Tobacco Board website. One practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely submission of bids through the e-PADS portal to avoid disqualification due to late submission. Pakistan Tobacco Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with applicable PPRA Rules.
