Tender Description
The Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court in Gilgit invites sealed tenders from well reputed registered government firms, dealers, suppliers, and contractors for procurement of various goods and services required for the Financial Year 2026-2027. This procurement covers a wide range of items essential for the court's operations and maintenance.
Items being procured:
- Office Stationery
- Office Printing Materials
- Miscellaneous Items
- Entertainment & Gift
- Software
- Purchase of IT Equipment
- Purchase of Furniture & Fixtures
- Purchase of Plant & Machinery
- Repair of Transport
The procurement includes office supplies such as stationery and printing materials, software solutions, IT equipment, furniture, plant and machinery, as well as transport repair services. The scope requires suppliers to have a complete setup including shop, workshop, and technical staff in Gilgit Town, supported by agreements with authorized dealers in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. A refundable call deposit is required for each category, ranging from Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 1,140,000 depending on the item.
Eligibility criteria include registration with relevant authorities, a bank draft as bid security, and submission of technical and financial proposals in separate envelopes. Firms must have at least five years of relevant experience, valid registration certificates, CNIC of the owner, and other supporting documents. The tender documents fee is as per the Gilgit-Baltistan Finance Act, 2024, payable through government treasury.
The last date for submission of completed documents varies by item, with most closing on 15-10-2026 and some on 16-10-2026. Tender opening times are scheduled shortly after the closing times on the respective dates. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their bids to meet all technical and financial requirements to avoid disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the call deposit is submitted from a scheduled bank in the name of PAO/Additional Registrar G.B Chief Court and to attach it with the technical documents, as tenders without call deposits will not be entertained. This will safeguard the bid and demonstrate seriousness in the procurement process.
This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers and contractors in Gilgit to engage with a prestigious government institution and contribute to its operational needs.
