Procurement of Play Sets and Facilities for NUST Play Park Islamabad

The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad is procuring play sets and related facilities for the NUST Play Park located at the H-12 Campus Islamabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2025-26 and involves the supply, installation, and operationalization of various children's play equipment and park facilities. The technical scope includes a variety of play units such as dual slide with bridge, rope net and staircase, bridge and slide combination, rope climbing features, small slides, multi-level tower play structures, thematic sculptures like a road roller, merry-go-rounds, kids seated play equipment, spring riders for ages 3-7 years, swing sets with integrated slides and gymnastic bars, climbing and activity panel sets, safety flooring systems with PCC, SBR and acrylic coating, surface water drainage systems, outdoor pole lighting, and landscape spike lights. All items must be delivered and installed at the NUST MT Park Area, H-12 Campus Islamabad within 45 days. Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and possess relevant experience and capacity. Joint ventures or consortiums are not allowed. Bidders must submit their bids through the EPADS v2.0 system and provide a bid security in the form of a pay order. The technical evaluation will be based on confirmation to specifications, firm capacity, past experience, financial statements, quality certifications, and clarity of the bid document. The minimum passing technical score is 60 out of 100. The bid submission deadline is Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM on the same day via EPADS v2.0. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bidders are advised to register on EPADS well in advance and ensure all required documents including NTN, GST certificates, OEM authorizations, and financial records are complete and properly labeled. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the detailed BOQ and technical specifications in Annex-A and Annex-B to avoid disqualification due to non-compliance or incomplete documentation.
